I have a 2008 Xterra Offroad. When I bought it the braked pedal pulsed. I had the pads and rotors replaced. That fixed the pulsing but the the pedal felt soft. I stopped but it didn't feel right. I had the master cylinder replaced and it's better, but still feels softer that my other cars. I this just an Xterra thing or is something still wrong?

Weak brakes
There is still air in the brake lines that was never bled out properly. Replacing parts doesn't mean the job is done proper.
Happened to my grandmas Ford Escape, the pedal was super soft and it wouldn't stiffen until it got close to the floor, heck it would go all the way down to the floor. Its definitely air in the lines
