Hey all, I recently was sent a few YouTube videos from someone and was asked my opinion about Valvolines "Repair and Protect" oil. First video here....
and the guy did a follow up video recently with what he is calling "real world" tests found here...
Now take this with a grain of salt, as you should with any of these Content Creators/Influencers videos.
First Video shows Valvolines controlled environment testing, which if taken for face value is really good results.
Second Video (long af, just get to the point dude) shows him using this oil in his own vehicles, which also seems to show good results.
So, I'm going to run the same test on a few of my vehicles, likely my Titan and my Acura MDX since both of those are about ready for oil changes. I will use this post as my test result documentation with pictures.
