Trying to diagnose these ticking sounds

My 02 has 2 distinct ticking sounds when I start it up. First one is a low drum ticking and then either after acceleration and coming down or sometimes at idle a higher pitched one comes into play but will go away eventually. I did research and I tested the injectors and replaced one which didn't work but before I tear into it wondering if anyone has experience or insight into what I should be looking for. My hunch is possible lifter slap? I read my 02 has adjustable lifters that are shimmed? I'm trying to fix it up to give to a family member but don't want to give them something that is going to breakdown or leave them stranded. Not sure if this is just something that happens with older worn parts or if it's a sign of something worse is about to happen. Attached link to a video has the low tick at the beginning then after revving it the higher tick comes into play as the rpms lower. Put my OBD reader on and no codes but previously I did have a misfire code on cylinder 1.

Update Finally got around to checking the manifolds and couldn't find any cracks nor was sound coming from below so I'm leaning towards lifters? I did a fresh oil change, added a quart of rislone to the oil and added seafoam to my gas. Still getting the ticking but I only ran it down the road and back as I don't have it insured or registered anymore but I noticed a bit of a change. Going to try and run her a bit longer and see if it helps more.

They call that the Italian tune-up: take it out on the road and give 'er the beans.
