I've had my 2011 Pro4X for 3 years and have replaced this censor 4 times. twice by Nissan and 2 times I did it. Just had it diagnosed by another trustworthy shop, and they told me it's a wiring issue or computer issue. And that I have to go back to Nissan for it. Is it possible to go anywhere else? I hate the Nissan in my town.

Also, don't forget that a proper MAF Sensor Cleaner can work wonders if it's contaminated like @Blackberry mentions.

If it keeps coming up damaged or burned out, check your filter to make sure the filter is fully sealed to keep out anything that can't pass through the filter medium.

The OE sensor is a 22680-7S000. These are very reliable sensors and there’s no reason you’d have to replace any of them. They’re almost always contaminated. I typically see insects or thistle seeds. I know that the ‘12 models had a software update and the ‘11s probably did too. Vacuum leaks and clogged exhaust can also cause this code. Cold air intakes are also known to cause this
