Alright guys, after contemplating rebuilding my engine or just buying a new one, I found a smoking deal on a fully remanufactured long block and I jumped on it. $800 shipped, and it's already sitting in my garage. Here's what I've got:
Now here's what I'm planning on ordering, which is where I start to have a few questions. Please look this over and let me know what else I'll need, I could have easily missed something. The only thing not on this list that I plan on ordering is a new radiator (the s/c one), but I'll be getting it from 1-800-radiator.
Any and all help will be appreciated. I know this will be huge job, so I want to try and make sure I have everything before I dig in so I can avoid as many "oh shit" moments as possible. I plan to keep this thread updated as I go, so hopefully it will help someone else out later.
P.S. Here is the E-fan conversion that I am going to do. Page 8 has the actual DIY (I think you should be linked straight to it, but just in case).
