Xterra doesn't like the cold

I just bought my 2007 Xterra 4X4 3 months ago, and I've had no problems with it except for the last month whenever it is really cold it doesn't want to start until I've turned it over 3 or 4 times. The odd thing is it does this "occasionally", meaning some cold mornings it fires right up, and others not. I brought it back to the dealer and the service manager said it was the fuel pump loosing pressure, so he replaced the fuel pump. However I still have my occasional problems with it starting right away.
A friend of mine who owns an '05 Xterra said he had the same problem when it was cold, and he found out if he pressed the Unlock on his keyless entry remote that his would start right up. That trick works on mine ALMOST all of the time. Any suggestions??

It could be that pressing the unlock button is drawing current from the battery. batteries CAN freeze and yours could be damn near frozen. Try this. Every cold morning turn your key to accessory and count to 5 then turn your headlights on. Count to 10 turn them off and stat the car. See if this works. If it does then the battery not having jucies flowing was the problem. It helps my 02 start up immediatly on really cold mornings. around 25-35 degrees.
