Strange Problem

I have a 2010 Xterra Off Road. Yesterday I changed the left brake ligth, which had blown. Since then when I turn the Xterra off the headlights stay on and the alarm sounds. This happens every time I turn it off. Can this be related to the changing of the brake light bulb? This has never happened before yesterday.
