I just recently replaced my head unit and the front two speakers with kicker speakers. The head unit works fine, the front speakers work great, my kicker sub works great, but my stock speakers in the rear are not playing at all. I faded the music to the rear and only the sub works, no sound from the rear speakers. I was thinking I may have blown them while listening to music with the new speakers because now I can actually turn it up loud. any suggestions? 2004 xterra XE 2.4L 5 speed with stock system, no rockford fosgate setup. Thanks!

What kind of head unit do you have? Silly question but is your sub properly ran ? You may not wanna take the head unit back out but this would be a good way to see if your connections are good its also possible to have blown the aftermarket wiring harness that connects to the head unit. Usually with speakers it will start with a crackling sound coming from the speaker however that's not to say that a speaker cant just crap out on you completely. Pull the head unit out and switch your front speaker wires with the rear to see if you get sound and to see where your not getting sound. Or pull one of the rear panels off and take your speaker out and plug it up to home unit. Either way will help you will figure out where the problem is coming from.
Hope this helps, post back and let us know
