New To Me 2003 Xterra

I have been lurking on this forum for a couple of months and have finally found my Xterra....

I closed on a 2003 Xterra with low miles (40K). Besides the timeing belt and valve cover gaskets, are there any other known maintenance issues I should address?

I think it needs ball joints and inner outer tie rod ends which I'll do next month if needed along with new tires (current ones are 13 years old!) but I am looking for any other potential trouble issues that I should check in to now. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide...... Dave

Fuel filter probably needs replaced, if for no other reason than for fuel sitting there and turning to gel (from the ethanol) or varnish.

You'll need new blinker fluid and muffler bearings, too. Make sure that the fluid uses plant-based nitrogen. Artificial nitrogen recovered from the atmosphere can lead to green lights and tickets from cops in Virginia.
