framesliders as step up bars

Hey guys,

Silly question, maybe. We actually use the stock bars as step up bars because my wife's a bit short. I'd like to replace the bars 'cause they look like ass, the paint is peeling etc. I've looked at Calmini, Shrock and Ac4x4 stuff online. The thing is I can't quite tell how far the sliders extend from the body and whether they are useful as step up bars..

I like the price and look of Calminis for instance but they seem quite close to the body.. What do you think? Is there anyone else that makes sliders besides calmini,shrock and ac4x4?

your local metal fab or race builder should be able to make anything you could think of and tailer it to be used as a step bar as well.

I know nothing about them and am not advocating for them at all but a google search for "Vancouver, BC race fab shop" brings up http://www.burrardmechanical.com/ as the first result.

They may be a bigger outfit that would be willing to take on that kind of project, but you never know.
