hey guys i decided to go a different way with my X than the typical, yet awesome, trail/rock crawler. in the future i think im going to make an Xterra trophy truck because i love going offroad and i love going fast so why not combine the two lol. i saw in another thread that this prerunner bar for the Frontier would fit the Xterra but would need some trimming
does anyone know what and how much of it would need to be trimmed to make it look right
thanks

dont really know how much you would have to trim, but this will be a new one to see.
Good luck

Saweet! Dude, that's a rad idea. I actually want to run the Baja 1000 (just to finish, not to place) in my Xterra some day, so keep us posted!

Umm not to be a dick but you cant make it into a trophy truck. they are silhouette vehicles with tube chassis and fiberglass body panels. You can make it a pre runner though or a class truck.

It's your truck, but I'd wait if I were you. Personally, I'd build the suspension and undercarriage first. I'd butcher the OEM Bumper to get me by until later when it's more feasible to add the prerunner bumper. I got an idea from seeing a few wrecked Titans driving around here. Here's a thread where I used MSPaint to show my idea of how I might cut my bumper ends off after the kids are grown and moved out and I know our roadtrips in the Armada will be reduced:

Thanks guys!!! I think the X would look just as good as a Titan or Armada like that. And FWIW, that pic I used is an immitation Pre-Runner Bumper that the guy bought on eBay for $49. If you could find something to do similar or just keep the existing grille guard on, then that's alot of $$$ you could be spending on good FOX Racing External Resevoir Shocks instead. ;)
