Has anyone ever heard of Wheelskins Steering Wheel Covers or tried them?

Theyr made of leather with the option of two tone and perforated. They fit real tight and look like theyr part of the factory steering wheel in the pics. It looks to me like theyr lace on.

My steering wheel is 11 years old and pretty worn out so Id like a cover for it but Id like something that fits tight and isnt big and bulky like some of my friends that Iv seen. Any suggestions?

I might try it out. It seems like the best option for what I want. Reviews say its very good quality only bad thing is they say the install is somewhat difficult. You literally sow it on yourself...my moms really good at that haha maybe il see if shed do it.
I have a steering wheel cover in my x and I can recommend it, installation is not that difficult......
BUMP!

Anyone have any pics of one installed in an XTerra?

It is either one of these, or a new rubber one, pull steering wheel, and replace... I think the perforated would match pretty well on the sides.

I am wondering if they really feel all that much larger than stock. I cannot stand giant steering wheels.

Any more opinions? Jg, you ever get one?
Never ended up getting one but I am still interested. I was waiting to see if I could find some more info on it from buyers

I am ordering a black one. Ill post pics as well

Im sure I can make it look similar to the one below, minus the red stitching

Got it and installed. I had them ship me an extra thing of lace so I could do a baseball stitch. Came out pretty decent. Dont mind the wavy part by the spokes... they pretty much massaged out, and I think itll continue to wear in very nicely

That looks awesome! I would go with red stitching. Way too cool !

Yeah, and the red fits the red x on the clubX stickers, thats basically the reason why I chose red for the steering and the seat covers (-:
Nice work!
