I bought a 07 Xterra about a month ago and I have a few issues here. I notice no hesitation while accelerating. The automation transmission shift gears with no problem. Even when I punch the gas, no hesitation. But upon accelerating I feel a jerk and a thump coming from somewhere. I can't pin point it. On normal acceleration I keep hearing a vibration noise coming from the front. The other issue when I shift between drive or reverse I feel a slight jerk. No hesitation when shifting but I can hear it shift underneath.

I've searched the internet trying to find the answer, no luck.

Check your drive shaft the factory u-joints are weak replace with greasable ones MOOG good product.
