Hi All,
I am new to the forum....I hope to be here a long time and enjoy the experience and expertise of my fellow XTERRA owners. I have a 2008S and recently had a Rough Country 2.5" Lift Kit installed, love the stance....problem is....this morning I had it out in the rain for the first time since the install and as I was making a left turn at about 30mph, and the front end broke free....almost hit a guardrail. I have the stock tires on it....is there something else I need to do? I dont want to take the lift out..help!!!...lol

Hi Edwin,
Thanks for your reply....the tire have about 10k miles on them....I might have overestimated my speed...perhaps closer to 15-20mph....just seemed faster once the front end broke lose. I recently had a 2.5 lift kit put in....didnt have an alignment done after....rookie mistake...it is in the alignment shop right now. I'll let you know if the alignment does the trick.
Thanks

Have the shop measure the depth on your tires, stating mileage isnt a way to measure tread on your tires. I honestly don't believe the lift had any input on your lose of control, yes the lift will add addition height which promotes a higher chance of roll over. Could either factor of tire type &/or alignment could of caused your incident.
