Hi guys I would like to mount my High frequency ham radio under my passenger seat "keep my $600.00 dollar radio out of sight"!

Is there any electronics under the seat computers air bag sensors or anything like that don't want my 100 watt radio shutting anything down or causing something to go off! Any way to get rid of that bulge under there? I need to make more room Quite a bit more! anyone have any info or is all that part of the seat support and I'll not be able to remove?Thanks.jim

I was able to mount mine under the dash using the removable crossbar stiffener. 2nd gen not sure whats under 1st gen dash.
Heard some guys in my local club telling people under the seat isn't the best in case of water getting in, slushy snow from boots or dumping a big gulp in your lap!
