Drove the truck again today. It has first and second. But when it gets to the top of second it just revs out. Holds first and second when selected on the shifter. Still no dash lights.
Transmission issue
Hey everyone,
I'm having an issue with my 03 sc with the auto trans.
Friday I was traveling down the interstate and my x started to kick in and out of over drive. Shortly followed by the the tach reving out. I stopped on the side of the road and restarted the truck to see if it was just a hiccup but the trans wouldn't shift out of first when in drive. It will shift into second if selected with the shifter. No lights have come on the dash.
The OD button doesn't provide any changes.
I checked the fluid and it is at its normal operating level, doesn't appear to be discolored or contain any metal on the dip stick. And no leaks have been discovered. I have only about 6k on the fluid change.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
