2003 Xterra v6, 4x4. 144,000 miles. Bought the truck today and drove it from Leesburg, VA. To Richmond. Down shifted and uplifted 4-3. Almost searching for a gear. Noticed a whining noise about the last 5 miles. Trans fluid is clear normal color. No burnt smell or metal particles. Also, had a full tank of gas went 175 miles and it used a half tank of gas. Any advice?
