Hi - As I'm been trying harder trails, I've been breaking more and more steering and front suspension parts on my 2001. I'm breaking ball joints, both upper and lower, as well as outer tie rod ends. I've stiffened up the shocks and I want to replace the OEM bump stops with Timbren bump stops/springs.

Has anyone tried this on their Gen 1?

I have a 3" AC suspension lift, still there's only 2.5" inches of open space above the OEM bump stop. Timbren sells 1" spacers, but don't I want to keep that space open and not restrict my articulation? Right now I'm tempted to replace the OEM with the Timbren and not worry about spacers.

Any thoughts? Thanks
