I have the third one on the way and I want to keep the Xterra...

Has anyone fit three child seats in the back. I would be using a Graco infant carrier, a britax booster and a 5pt harness booster to be named later (which is where the dilema comes in. With total hip room of 51.9, it gives me only about 17" per seat max. So i wouldn't even have room to reach seat belts (in the case of boosters).
A second booster vs. the 5pt booster would give me about two inches, but my son is only 33lbs. and not really ready for a regular booster.

Any ideas or experience here? BTW - i would be willing to swap out all the car seats I have and buy new if it helps keep the X.

If it doesn't work my option might be to trade in a buy Pathfinder...3rd row and all...

Right now I have 2 car seat in my 2000 X.
One facing forward (daughter is 3 years old 30lbs)
and one facing backward (daugher is 8months old)

I really don't see how it would be possible to fit another cartseat in the middle withtout affecting the security of the 2 others seat on each side. The belt will tight offset so I don't think it is a great idea.

Plus having to put a child in the middle seat might not be very conveniant in a every day usage. The Path is most likely your best bet.
