I see quite a few sets of pretty looking black rotors that are cross drilled etc. same with pads.

anyone try any of these?

back in early 2000 I ordered an ebay set of control arms, tie rods ball joints etc for my gmc jimmy. and the parts were mediocre at best.

so, anyone try some of these 'purdy black rotors?

Cheap Chinese rotors are known for cracking and warping pre-maturely. The drilled/slotted ones, even more-so (easier to crack). The reason they are so cheap is because they use shit-grade steel. Stick with a reputable brand or Nissan OEM. Drills/slots won't get you any performance gains on factory calipers/pads on a pick-up truck anyway.

I'd put these in the same "ricer junk" category as "altezza" lights and whistle-tips for your muffler. Do you want to race for pink slips bro?
