The dreaded rattling noise

Hi all, I have started to notice a rattling sound when ever I put my foot on the gas to accelerate from a complete stop coming from drivers side..Any tips on what it could be, and possible repair advice would be very helpful. 2005 Off Road 115,000.00 miles. Thank you so much for all the previous advice, this is my go to place for help.

Exhaust pipe heat shields. Metal straps rust out and they flap around with the exhaust vibration. High probability.

i guess the metal straps around the exhaust pipe heat shield is beginning to get rust so there's a high probability that they'll flap around whenever the exhaust vibrates.

My ‘00 X had this clanging noise, but the shields weren’t rusted enough to remove so I got under there and pounded on the heat shields to find the noisiest points and used worm drive clamps to snug them down. No more rattle.
