Suspension lift or SL will net you more than just room. Its an increase in components usually if you don't cut corners and overall should be upgrades and upfitting compared to stock. A body lift, or BL will net you some room and some room for articulation but ideally its the tires and wheels that net you "lift". Sometimes people use a combination of both to achieve the results they're after.

Outside of that BL start around $160+ and anything that's a decent quality in SL starts around the $449+ price point. Best thing to do is to research some of the build threads on here, see what was done [and why], research the parts and brands, compare with your needs and budget and start there.

You will get much more out of a SL if you know how to wheel it. 33's with just a 3" SL in the pics.

Hey man I really like the looks of your x!!! Now how’s the rubbing and Mpg on the highway? I wouldn’t mind trimming if I had to but maybe the mpg a little cause of my big commute to school everyday. And are you running 15 or 16 rims?

What rubbing? Trimmed the plastic back and have no issues with rubbing. The rear needed spacers so it would not rub the frame during full articulation. There is still some suspension travel in the front and rear in those pics. My X is known as a freak with MPG. Still easily gets 19 plus on the highway. It will get 16 in town. I have the 4.63 gears. Most people are lucky to get 15 MPG with 33's. 15 inch wheels.
