replacing my shocks and rear leafs on a 2003 X

I just ordered stock height bilsten 5100s for front and rear and new torsion bars.
I am planning to do a PML afterward
( replacing the 220k old rear lefs with general spring HD, provide no lift)

can I get 1.5" out of the PML and shackles or do I need to upgrade to the bilsteins with longer travel or stock travel is fine?

I am not planning to the future doing anymore of a suspension lift possibly a BL but that's it

Stock height Bils will work for a PML. Body lift wont impact shock compatibility.

3 in lift Bils will work in the rear even for a stock height truck.

The lift shocks are just longer to allow more flexibility. If you keep stock length shocks with the PML...it will work. But if you really flex the rear end off road, your shocks will reach the fully extended point before your leaf springs and shackles will...thus limiting rear articulation.

Id recommend the 3 inch lift shocks in the rear and stock length ahocks for the front. But if you don't offroad much...then no big deal.
