I recently replaced my driver front power window motor. It has been acting up for a couple years. once it even stopped altogether. I pulled the motor a couple times and cleaned the inside and re-lubed the gear to get it to work. Anyway I finally replaced it earlier this month. My issue is that the window goes up really slow for the 1st have way. I thought replacing the motor would fix this but nope. The passenger one is kinda slow too but has original motor. Could it be the regulator is dragging causing the issue? If so is this strictly a replace part? If so, I could have gotten the whole assy for an extra $10.00 on Amazon. I just didn't want to have to fight the whole thing.

Well been back in country since July, for good. I lubed the driver front window tracks with lithium grease spray and made a big difference. Noticed the passenger side was getting a lil slow so I hit that one too and instant difference. I ended up doing the back 2 also and made a difference too. I changed the driver front window motor earlier this when I was home on leave. I wonder if the extra drag from needing to be lubed is what burned the motor up.
