I guess I should have started when I got the X but I haven't done much to it. Slow process when you are raising a family.

Here are some pictures of when I first got it. The day I bought it, I upgraded the stock stereo to an Alpine/JL Audio stock replacement, nothing fancy.

Then, I did a PML, added Bilsteins, BFG KM2's, removed the rear sway bar and mud flaps. Put on a tow hitch for bike racks till I get a rear Shrocks. K&N filter, intake mod, Quest alt is on the shelf to be installed and yes, I need to remove the step rails. :)

Last weekend, I added a Shrockworks front bumper (thanks to Xtacular!), PIAA 520's, an IAB and a winch is on the way.

I waited almost 1 whole agonizing day for my bumper. It was used on CL, the ad was pointed out to me, I called the next day and bought it/picked it up that night since it was local.

Now I have to have the rear bumper and will probably have to wait a few months from when I order it, but worth it. This thing is highly crafted.
XRC8 Comp winch installed. Easy install. I hope it works well.

Removed the steps.

Painting plastics in progress.

Quest alt to be installed soon.
Awesome!
Nice looking X, I like the look of the black and blue
Thanks. I just painted the rear plastics. Looks ok...just makes the fact that the rear bumper is not black sick out. Time to order a rear Shrocks?
Did you put the Quest alt in or order the Shrock rear ;)
Two no's..... Alt has been on the weekend to do list but a few things came up. Hope to do it before it gets cold. Shrock rear....I wish. Maybe if I find one used. :) Or sliders....
Well, the Quest alt is installed. It was pretty easy. Need to drive a bit more but seems fine. Will need to try the winch again to see if I notice any difference. Probably won't be able to tell but that is ok. Install was fine but should have ground down the tab first. Would have saved a bunch of time. Hoping to get sliders next.
Bumper looks great. Have you tried out the winch again?
Liking the bumper, thats a hell of a color you got on there too, looking like a damn smurf

That is how I explained the color to my insurance agent. When she saw the pics she said she understands why I called it that. :)

I need to try the winch again. Hopefully before I have to test it due to a need from bad weather.

I've got the same winch and so far I've loved it! Pulled out my cherokee buddy a couple times on the trail (it's nice pulling a lighter vehicle around)
Installed my sliders today. Calmini's new design.
