So far I've heard nothing but good things about Shrockworks. They are pricey, but I love the look of their products and if I have to fork over $1k for a good bumper that I'll love as long as I have my X then I will.
Just wondering if I should be aware of any risks before purchasing something? Front and rear tire carrier bumpers, skid plates, sliders, everything!
Should I start saving or look for something else?

Thanks guys!

I'd say you have your answer, start saving!

Quality is top notch so the only thing you will have to wrap your mind around with Shrock are the wait times. Understand you will have to have patience and from what I've heard calling them for updates just isn't helpful.

I have an ARB bumper (still lovin' it), HeftyFabWorks sliders (awesome!) and Shrock skid plates.
Ordered my skids too late (April - received 2nd week July) for a June Utah BDR trip in 2013 and they arrived a week after I got home, doh. I just had to wait for some funds so rolled the dice...but knew that going in. Still happy with their quality and they'll serve me for the life of the truck. Just have patience....or better planning! hehe.

Thanks for your help man! Glad to know you've been happy with their sliders! Did you get them powder coated or just in bare steel?
And I'm guessing they fab everything per order if shipping takes so long?

yes, they fab to order. The insane wait times aren't cause of shipping. it cause they make to order and they are always back logged with orders. the price of having a good product.

Dang. I guess that makes sense though. Do you know how long it would be (approximately) for a bumper? I mean the skid plates took 3 months!

Outstanding quality (I have their skids)
Ridiculous stupid wait times.

Pretty much sums up Shrock.

I got their skid plates, bare metal, ThompsonXTerra.

I had my Hefty Fabworks sliders powder coated and even though the bottoms are all torn up, I like having the nice powder coat look on top...just need to hit the bottoms with some semi-gloss cover once it warms up.

I'm selling a shrockworks front bumper currently. The only catch is I'm in Shreveport Louisiana so I can only really sell within a certain region. Shipping would be crazy expensive.

Why are you selling it? And yah Louisiana to California would be a bit pricy!
