I am helping my high school son with buying a car and he is interested in a 2002 Xterra with 148,000 miles. It is generally in good shape and has been well maintained. Is this alot of miles for that vehicle and are there any specific issues we should be looking for? Is the Nissan engine known to last to 200,000 miles or more or should we stay away from this many miles?
