New Wisconsin owner of an S 4WD. Frustrated with not knowing how to drive this beast in the winter? If I am on a snow covered trail in the woods no problem, driving straight in 4hi on city streets no problem, but when I want to pull into my parking spot, reverse and park when exactly and how do I turn back to 2wd? The parking lot is plowed, could have some dry pavement and ice, if I stay in 4Hi I will probably get tire scrub. What is the proper operating procedure to avoid driveline damage or am I being over cautious? Timely responses are greatly appreciated.

Switch back into 2wd when theres no snow on the ground? Not like you'll lose traction immediately after switching out of 4wd lol. But a little tire scrub won't hurt if the parking lot is still a little snowy/icy and you need the extra traction.

Snow driving is a lot of plug and play depending on the conditions. I hardly ever need it on the roads, plowed or not if its packed down enough.
