Next weekend I'll be doing the water pump and timing belt replacement, among a few other things.

I've been considering doing a PML at the same time but was curious about how much ride quality is sacrificed.

All I can really find is that it will be a bit stiffer. Should I look into new shocks @ ~100k miles?

I have a 2004 2WD 5speed. Ride quality now is pretty comfortable, but I live in an area with poor roads. Pot holes, bumps, etc.

I would like to maintain some bit of comfort as I do mainly drive on the pavement here.

Just looking for the general consensus on ride quality after doing a PML.
