Not to mention, you'll have to upgrade the alternator wiring to a bigger gauge...I asked 4x4parts about that and thats what they informed me before I backed out on getting one.I think if mean green makes one it will power the on board welder. I know we can run one that way mike. but the alt is like $300 bucks

Sounds like it'll run you over a thousand bucks if you bought all that stuff that TJ have posted up there.Hmmm...secondary gel cell batteries, installed OBW's, bt no secondary Alt's.
I can't think of a 2nd Gen with a OBW actually.
What I would do is get a higher amp alternator that would mount where the OEM went...there are a few sources, but an easy option would be like this:
And yeah - you already know you need to up the ga on the wires that have more juice to carry, etc, like this:
Then do an underhood control unit set up like :
