Welcome to the site. Really a hard question as there is no definitive answer. We could probably help you narrow it down with some questions. Is this going to be a straight trail only rig or is it going to be a daily driver as well? What size tire are you looking for? Do you plan on doing a body lift?

Also if you use the advance search feature and search the word tire in thread titles you'll get dozens of threads asking the same question with lots of information in them that would help you decide. Post some pics of your truck when you get a chance.

I would have gotten it with the Bilstein shocks...but that's still an excellent performing kit on the way.

As for tires, you can fit up to 32's...unless you are also doing a BODY LIFT or modifying your front fenders....are you?

If not, the tires would depend on your rim size, you have either 15" or 16" if they are stock for that year.

If 15", that means 32 x 11.5/15's

If 16", that means 265/75/16's most of the time.

What's your tire size (And as mentioned, use, plan?

The Bilsteins are better shocks with a different design, but many people are happy with the Ranchos as well.

Personally I wouldn't run anything smaller than a 32 (sounds like you are sticking with your stock wheels?). I did half of your suspension lift and my stock-sized 31s looked small. On 2002-2004 (which is the same vehicle as 2000-2001 essentially), 265/70/16 was the biggest stock size, considered a 31... so if you went with anything smaller than a 32 there will be stock soccer moms with larger or as large tires as you. And they will perform better off road.

I used to run 33" pit bull rockers on my jeep and they work amazingly well on all terrain I would defiantly buy them again

My vote is for the MTR Kevlars. I am running 35x12.50s and they are a lot better than the Trxus MT's that came on the X in every way (on road, off road, wet conditions, etc.) and are also better than the Bighorns and KM1s I have run in the past.

We still don't know the use...as in, 100% off road like paddle wheels, or, weekend offroad, like AT kos', etc.

my jeep was a daily driver, so i would run the pitbulls on the street during the week and off road on the weekends, they worked amazingly well in all different terrain, mud, sand, rock, only complaints would b they are a pretty soft tire so they wore down on the street, (not sure exactly the mileage i got out of them but they lasted me about 2 years) and they were a fairly noisy tire. but i would still buy them again, if only they would fit lol.
