Hello everyone!

I have a newbie question. On some cars everyone recommends only buying OEM items such as sensors. I am curious if this is the case for the Xterras.

I'm also wondering if there are only certain things you guys recommend to get OEM.

I have a 2000 manual X and right now I need an oxygen sensor, drivers side after the Cat. I'm wondering not only for this part but for other parts I may buy in the future as well.

Anything but Ebay . Why are you buying o2 sensor they hardly ever go bad .They are only the delivery of a message that some else is wrong.If you could not get a signal on your cell phone would buy a new cell phone or fix the problem with the service ?

I have a service engine light on. I read an O2 Sensor code. Got under the car to look at sensors and see that one is obviously broken. It's a new to me vehicle so I have no idea how that happened or how it could have happened!

If its broken then it needs to be replaced.
