I sent in my application and it's kind of a pain in the arse. The card number I used isn't going to be in use after this month, and since I didn't know it would take SO LONG for them to approve it and do what they need to do, I won't have that funds IN THAT CARD anymore by the time they get it situated. I'm not sure what to do.

Huh, that's weird. They've always been quick acting with my orders. I guess I'd call.

It's a fund raising machine. I used to be a member. No more. I'm a hunter. I own multiple firearms. I introduced my son to shooting sports. And I feel like the NRA has completely sold out to gun manufacturers who just want to push more and more merchandise on an ever dwindling segment of the population that enjoys the shooting sports.

If they want to protect gun ownership privileges (note I said privileges, not rights, since you can legally burden a right with so many requirements that it's meaningless) in the long run, the NRA needs to moderate and reach towards the middle. Never happen. They are too busy pandering to their base and taking orders from the gunmakers. In another generation or so, the NRA will be like the KKK.
