I am really glad to participate in this club! I am Korean immigrant (just got Gcard)
I am planning to get my own (my own name signed) car this may!
Right now, I have gotten three candidate: Xterra, 4Runner, and grand cherokee(???????)
But as I watch the videos and forums, I keep getting my head toward Xterra (fuck Toyota tax)
My budget is around 25000.
I am looking at 2014-15 pro4x in 20000
What do you think, sirs?
Would there be better year or trim I should look for?
Help me sensei! guide me, so I can have my own rock solid car!

For a new immigrant, you've already learned some language that many of us don't use.

Language aside, the Pro4X mostly means that you get a rear locking differential. The front is still open.

Jeeps are all over the place, much like Chevies and Fords, which means they should be cheap enough and have lots of spare parts.

Toyotas are numerous as well.

It all depends on what you're looking to do - impress folks or have fun 4-wheelin'.
