Hello, so I'm new to the cult of xterra and I'm super excited to be here. Slight history,
I've owned 2 corollas until their death at advanced mileage and ages. Then started a new trend of being hit by other drivers, resulting in the totaling of 2006 Scion xB (t-boned), 2000 Hyundai (had it 2 months we didn't bond), 2002 Jetta (great car until drunk driver decided to rear end me on the freeway), and recently another 2002 Jetta (it took a hit well so I went with it again) this time I went with something larger, and more visible (yellow xterra). I own, as of yesterday a 2002 X with 106k miles. Whoever owned it was careful and even made notes in the owner manual.
So now I'm here to learn more about the newest member to my family. He's as of yet unnamed.
I do have a few minor things I want done and not sure where to post or find my answers.
My seat belt stopper button is missing and I see there are replacement ones but according to Nissan I have to replace the entire seatbelt. Is this actually necessary? I just don't want to fish for my buckle every time. Thanks. I'm also replacing my keyfob but I found info on that and hope it's accurate.
In the future I'd like to get the cool closing cargo box for the top an a tent.
