So a few weeks ago I bought my first car; it is a 2006 Xterra S. Bought it at Nissan dealership "as is" and got a fair price on it. I came from a Land Rover family so I felt like a needed a good 4wd. I have always loved seeing the yellow gen 1's driving around when I was younger.

Welcome to the club. If it is a auto trans you need to read up on SMOD because i am sure the dealer did not say a word about.

I have read a little about it, is there somewhere on the forum that says how to prevent this? Also a few days after I bought it and got gas, apparently the fuel sensor is bad too... Also I had to fix that damn fuel door spring, but that was the easy and cheap thing to do on it.
