Welcome. What part of St. Louis are you in? I used to live in Kirkwood..graduated from high school there, and I'm an alumni of Wash. U. My wife and I get back there once a year to see her family for Christmas. I'll be there from Dec 26-Dec 31st this year...if you see my X around..wave! We'll be mostly in West County (Des Peres area), and the Eureka area.

Haha, I know exactly where you're talking about. I used to live on W. Madison right up from the Kirkwood Community Center..so I'm very familiar with those tracks. Actually, the better ones are over near Sappington in Glendale...if you're heading the back way to where the QT and Denny's is, you'll know the ones I mean. We always had a hell of a time when we would barrel down that road back in the day. Ah, to be young again ;) I graduated KHS in the early 90s, so it's been quite a while...the only teacher that I think is still there from my days there is my old Accounting teacher (Connie Reynolds). At least, she was there as of a year or so ago.

If she's still there, and you see her, tell her Dave Center says hey! She was/is a great lady, and pretty much my favorite teacher that was ever at Kirkwood. I had Dave Holley's brother Mike for a History teacher...he would have to be my 2nd favorite...but he's no longer there. (I think Dave Holley is the principal there now right?).

But cool man..small world. Some of my wife's family still lives in Harwood Hills off Bopp Rd...so I'll be right around your neck of the woods most of the time while we're there in Dec.. Other than that, the rest of her family live out off Lewis Rd in Eureka (up in all the new neighborhoods by the old dairy farms).

Awesome.

Is Mr. Dix still the baseball coach or one of them? I would be surprised if he was...he's getting kind of old by now I guess ;)

That's cool though. Can't make it out for the Turkey Day game, although I'd love to...that was always a good time...we're just never really out there to catch that game...as we just go for Christmas time really, and not Thanksgivings :(

Well we don't have those kind of rail road crossings here in NJ. However! a while back I was staying with friends in Indiana and there was a incident involving a rented Pontiac Sunfire , jumping over stuff, and front bumper re-attachment. :engel-big:
