So recently wrecked my 07 frontier le.i just bought a xterra. The day after i bought it i noticed a oil mark under my xterra. Its more the just a couple drops. I do notice a slight smell of burning oil. But when i crawled under it it looks like it could be the oil pan or the main seal. Are theses common problems with 2003 xterra with 133xxx miles?

Kinda upset with it but the truck is in great condition and runs and shifts flawlessly

Any input guys?

If you overfill the engine with oil it blows the rear main...most places pump 5qts into them when they only take 4 max...and when you do that, it blows the rear main...so ya mine even has a little seap

Thanks for the input, i read the forum looked at my rig. I have a rusted oil pan. Im going to fix it for the time being with jb weld, but i ordered the pan and gasket and sealant so when i get the time and motivation i can replace it.

If you question your rear seal leaking, take the starter off and have a look inside the starter hole. if it's all black and oily then i would say it's the rear seal leaking as well. My xterra had only 120k miles when i replaced mine and it sure was leaking.
