Hey there! I am a Midwest dude (Eastern Iowa) new to the group. I am looking to purchase my first Xterra (1st gen), but I am familiar with the Nissan family and have owned an 04 Maxima SL up to this point. I Love a good discussion and always looking for pointers / advice while I am shopping around. I also enjoy working on cars and I am sure I will be looking at the Diy repair forums a good amount haha.

This is going to sound weird but it's based on color:
Silver - Square
every other color - Round
I really like the silver earlier models but all the other colors just look better after 02 to me. I still really enjoy the silver as well, just like it a little more with squares.
