Hi! I'm looking into getting a light bar for my 2015 X. I have done some cosmetic Rhino liner work to it, I've got some Nitto grapplers and Rockstar wheels on backorder. My question is what size light bar spans the top of the roof box the best? I want the bar to span the entire length of the roof box but not extend past it. I've seen some Gorilla mounts online that utilize the existing roof mount bolt holes so no additional holes have to be drilled, but I'm not sure if all mounts are like that, or just this brand. I do not want a curved bar! My goal is to get a 40 or 42 inch for the roof rack, and then maybe a 20 something inch to insert into the grill. Any help on specific sizes, prices, brands, etc? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance! Here is my 2015 X so far.

Can't help to guide you on what size to get, but I do have some input.

I have a 23" ebay bar on my bumper, centered over the winch. I spend a lot of time finding camp sites off forest roads late at night. It lights things up pretty well. A bar over-the-cab is overkill in my opinion.

Time will tell how the Ebay bars hold up, my guess is not that great. However, it was nearly 1/10th the price of the fancy Rigid(sp?) bars, etc. so it will take a lot of replacements before the price equals out.

I may still end up with roof top lights, as I just added a roof basket. They are so cheap on ebay it's worth trying out. If so I'll update on how it performs.

I have brought 2 e bay light bars the first one i bought is a 21"120w i had it for 3 yrs , after 1 .5 years i had moisture in the lens. I had to take it a part not to hard to do and used gorilla sealant silicone clear . 1.5 later no problems . The 2nd one is 36" 240w bar and sealed the lens and side covers before having a problem! They work well for the money I spent on them .
