I have a 2006 Xterra SE

I have a couple questions about the LED replacements:

1. For the RED brake lights I have been told that because the OEM incandescent bulb is a double filament for tail/brake functions that an LED will not work. Is this correct and if not how how do I replace the OEM brake lights with LED's

2. for the colored lights red & amber do you have to use a colored LED?

3. I understand that I may need to replace the relay if I put an LED in a turn signal, correct?

I've replaced my interior bulbs with blue LED's and I like them. I'd like to change out the others as well.

Superbrightleds.com, and you CAN replace a dual filament bulb with led, they make them. Go on there, it'll help you out. The turn signal can be remedied by either a transistor per bulb/side (can't remember which one), or relay...relay is the easiest
