My front shocks are original and are starting to squeak pretty bad after 10 years of rust. Im installing a SL on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler and im wondering if the original shocks would be compatible with my 03 X. also will it add any lift or noticeably change my handling? thanks in advance for any answers.

I'm running 1980s K20 Suburban Rear shocks right now. I haven't given much thought to the fronts yet.
