Is seat belt "universal?"

2000 Xterra, front passenger seat belt socket, the "female" end if we're still allowed to say that - must replace. Dealer wants $86. "Universal" part online is $13. Will it click?

You could try this one. It says it's compatible, is only $9. I'm pretty sure that it identifies as female.

You could also check Ebay for OEM that have been pulled from another X or check out your local junk yard.
