Looks good man. But you still have your driveshaft safety loop on with no extension?
Yes, the way mine was inside of a loop in the front of a cross bar extending it would of been a real pain. It'll only drop down about an inch without having to bend it, and since it doesn't hit I left it as it was.But you still have your driveshaft safety loop on with no extension?
Indeed!! :nick-big:NICE!!!!...same color as my X....body lift recently installed...roof lights...and no front bumper! We are twins!
Everyone's is inside a loop like that- you just have to wiggle it around a little. Just takes a minute. But now that you're lifted, it's under a huge amount of strain. You may get a popping sound when you drive and it'll be a pain to remove and it may snap around or strip threads if you try. Not nagging you man, that just worries me a bit.Yes, the way mine was inside of a loop in the front of a cross bar extending it would of been a real pain. Be careful!!Duh. I just had a dumbass moment there. I was thinking backwards on that, so thanks. I'll take care of that in the morning then too.
I was! And freaked out in the back of my mind all the way home, too. But i got the front bumper installed and the bolt out. I have a "breaker bar" my dad gave me a few years ago and it has never let me down. I figured the neighbors wouldn't appreciate me using the Sawzall to cut my sleeve at 1am so I'll finish up then. Now just to track down the few codes I'm throwing about an evap leak, my guess after some research is a house busted somewhere. No issues anywhere else though after about 100 miles!Be careful!!
These happened after the body lift? If so pull the passenger front tire and you will see a plate covering some lines that are attached to the frame. These should have been cut loose from there mount during the BL and a new mount hole drilled to accommodate the BL. You will find a few of the lines have fractured.I was! Yeah. I've only had the knock sensor for the post little bit. Psh, wonderful. If I would of seen that in the guise I followed I would have...hopefully its a fairly easy and inexpensive fix? These happened after the body lift? Yep - in the works for the next day off sir! I haven't caught much time off, so I just had to worry about the one. Plus I haven't done Christmas with the parents yet, and I either have some new tools coming or funds for new tools!!Man you should just relocate the whole bracket- all those lines are under the same stress. It just takes a few minutes to drill and tap a new hole where it wants to rest. There are also brackets along the top of the frame rail running back that you might want to free up. My bundle sits over an inch above the frame, that's where it's happy!
