If you don't have a factory amp, tap your LOC into both your right and left rear speakers and use any 12 amp fuse that comes on once your key is turned to the on position as a source for your remote. Otherwise, your amp will always be on and will kill your battery.
This said, the X was the simplest install I've ever done. Very easy to get to everything and very clean job.
