Installed this
Hood Liner as it reflects natural light in the engine bay and a little less engine noise in the cabin.
Removed hood to install. Complete job took around 2 hours.

Precut and all the fasteners?

For a Gen1, no less! Excellent!

Are you going to "chase" the reinforcement ribs with a roller and heatgun, for maximum "stickage" and to better conform to the underhood?

No, it is sticking flat to the metal under the hood. The creases in the foil are superficial :)

You say it's a bit quieter. That's a plus. I need tires on my rig and plan to get something less noisy than the big-block knobbies, but still with some ability to go off-road comfortably.

That hood blanket seems like a good idea.

Care to share what it costs and where you got it?
