Hi, New member here. Just bought a 2006 Xterra with a six speed. Trouble is it idles real high until warm but goes down after awhile. But the real pain is that when I pull in the clutch and let off the gas it continues to rev making it a real chore to shift gears smoothly. Any ideas on what can be causing this?

If there was an issue with the idle speed, the ECM would set a code. If there’s no codes stored this may be how the vehicle was designed.
