Hi All! I'm looking at purchasing a new to me 2004 Xterra! I'm getting to old to climb in and out of my TJ. I had a 95 pathfinder that I just loved until hail took her away from me. I need to find a reputable shop in Calgary to price out getting the timing belt/water pump changed out as the dealer selling it can't provide proof that it was ever done (although his mechanic thinks it was). He wants $1000 to do the repair and I hopefully can get it done cheaper. It is a 3.3 with a 5spd and 161,000 kms on it. I could do it myself but time constraints amongst other things I would just prefer to pay someone else to do it for me.
I have been surfing your website for a couple of days and I really like what I see.

Thanks guys!
Duane

Did you find a place? If so how was it? I'm not in Calgary and do all my own work but I may have a transmission issue I'd rather not fix in the muddy field that is my driveway. Finding a good shop seems next to impossible, the business environment doesn't allow them to thrive for long, I'd travel to find one.
