The quality of posts has gone down hill.

Seriously. these idiots assume they know everything but can't solve or are unwillingly to research the most basic of problems.

Well for older farts like me...no. I enjoy reading posts and try to be helpful when I can. The only selfie taker in my house is my 14 y/o....Xterra. It keeps taking my phone and fills the memory with selfies. I've tried spanking, grounding, timeouts etc. Nothing works. Takes plenty of pictures but couldn't tell me which ABS sensor was out. Ugh rant over.

Heard the almost exact, word for word, thing said about those born in the 1940's and 50's. Of course every such comment had to include the term hippy and a comment about that generation being in diapers while the real men where out killing Jerries or Commies.

Of course the electronic and computer idiot references really started with those born in the 1960's and 70's particularly who were comfortable with idiot things like computers, electronic ignitions and pollution controls. They would also prefer Jap crap because it was cheaper but also because that crap was faster and better handling which resulted in endless WWII references.

Those born in the 80's and 90's were also total idiots and had to put up with those born earlier saying pointing out that they couldn't use notepad to make a web page, grew up inside computer games and wouldn't race around drunk and never drove without wearing seat belts.

Of course these days it's the idiots born after 2000 that all previous generations target. Complete idiots those guys. Wouldn't know what a party line or rotary dial phone is, doesn't even now what an OS is, and like every generation before has never done a real days work in their lives.

The level of generational disdain varies by time and culture, even family and individual but there does seem to be a need for us to eat our young and reject or ignore our old. I sometimes wonder why but usually get interrupted by some old fart complaining about not being able to get his computer to work, or wishing cars had carburetors.

It really has been all down hill since they came out with the automatic spark advance. ;)

So asks the dude from the generation who brought about the success of awful shit like Wal-Mart, McDonald's and mega churches!!

I make fun of people for doing/posting stupid shit all the time but TBass, from what I have seen of your posts, you more than anyone else, seem put up the most meaningless rhetoric offering little-to-no help out of anyone. Get back to your rocking chair!

well my daughter is 13 and can rotate tires and change oil. she can clean and fillet a fish too.

I don't think its any generation being worse. Probably stupidity is just more apparent to you because of the internet, 100's of channels on tv etc. when I was a kid, there were three channels on tv and google was the library.

if we did something stupid, nobody knew and we called it a 'lesson'
