Google has instituted new policy in there shopping feature and is in the process of censoring and removing all fire arms related results the shopping section that many of us use to compare prices.

What can you do other then the obvious of switching search engines to Bing or one of the other search engines? You can leave feedback telling them how displeased you are with there new policy.

1. Go to Google
2. Search for gun related thing such as "9mm ammunition"
3. Select "shopping" as type of search
4. See that no results are found because Google is being an anti gun jackwagon
5. In bottom right click Give Us Feedback
6. Select Google's search results weren't helpful.
7. Select Other
8. Type something describing how you feel about there decision and your choice to no longer use there search engine.

Repeat several times a day. Tell your other gun buddies to do the same. Spread the word statistics vary but anywhere from 80,000,000 to 160,000,000 gun owners in the U.S. Let's see how Google feels about losing that many users.

I tried bing for a week a few months ago, and hated it. The regular search results were never what i was looking for, and it didn't feel right. Google on the other hand, always gets what I'm looking for on the first page. So I either don't know the Bing keywords to use, or Bing isn't as good as Google.

Sucks about the censorship though. Hopefully they unblock gun shopping searches, although I can see why as a company they would take that stance.

I'll keep my google. Once they take over the world, it would be wise to be on their good side. :D

Dont be talking about my apple :D

Yeah this blows for gun owners.. But everyone is entitled to their own opinions and views.
As a company they are allowed to make these types of decisions, even though 80% of their users may not agree with them.

Sadly the US is slowly becoming more and more like China.. Rules, Rules, Rules for everyone... and less and less freedoms for the people.

It's kind of disgusting how soo much of what we use in today's society is linked to very large businesses. I try to not buy from those that disagree with firearms, but it's very difficult to remember them all. Plus, sometimes it's just hard to avoid them. I try to use small businesses when I can...

BTW, last time I bought 9mm, I paid $165 for 1000 rounds of reloaded stuff. I haven't had any problems with his stuff, used 40 s&w, .380 auto. Everything has worked great. I believe he will ship also, that's the killer part I guess. Weighs quite a bit. And if for some reason your gun doesn't like the ammo, it's not cheap to send it back.

That pretty funny considering I have NEVER used the shopping feature. But if you just google ammo you can still find deals. But you shouldnt have to google ammo anyways. Cheaper then dirt etc....all sorts of places for ammo.

What stance would that be exactly?

Yeah not a big deal until they come after something you care about. The point is this when given the choice as a gun owner I will always generate revenue for the company/site that chooses not to suppress my God given Constitutionally protected rights.

I'll stick with google. Yeah there are a ton of other search engines out there but hands down google gets what i want. If its just for ammo and guns, well that super sucks and I'm not going to lie about that but what about hot dogs or car parts or maps or where the nearest walmart is? all that works just fine. And like I said, if you DONT use the shopping thing it will find just what you need. try it.

Maybe its your location somehow

still
Your location: Columbia, SC - Change
Sort by:

Why these products?

Your search - 9mm ammo - did not match any shopping results.

Suggestions:

Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
Try different keywords.
Try more general keywords.
Try fewer keywords.
